Why did you go into behavioral health?

“Throughout my nursing career, I cared for individuals experiencing psychiatric crises and saw firsthand how difficult it could be to access timely, compassionate mental health care. Those experiences inspired me to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner so I could build long-term therapeutic relationships and help people improve not only how they feel today, but how they live their lives moving forward.”
