Thad Garland, MD

After completing his fellowship at Georgetown University, Dr. Garland began practicing in Northern Virginia.  He has subsequently worked at locations throughout the state including community service boards and partial hospitalization programs and has been practicing telepsychiatry since 2016.

Blandine Yacinthus, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Blandine found her passion for behavioral health care while working in the prison system. She has years of experience working with patients across the lifespan on outpatient, inpatient, correctional, and home settings. She is committed to providing compassionate and holistic care according to each patient’s individual need and cultural background. Blandine is fluent in both English and French.

Luis Betancourt, MD

Dr. Betancourt moved to Charlotte after training & working at Duke University Medical Center as a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. He is deeply committed to providing high-quality and compassionate care. He has particular interest in the interface between religion-spirituality and psychiatry. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Gianna Kang, PMHNP-BC

Gianna is a board-certified, nurse practitioner specializing in mental health and psychiatric conditions. Upon completion of her Master’s in Nursing from Georgetown University, Gianna has worked with individuals and families in outpatient, inpatient, trauma, and critical care settings. She believes in a holistic, and integrative approach built on compassion, respect, and open communication. She enjoys working with diverse backgrounds including LGBTQ and gender non-conforming patients, with a specialized interest in adolescents and young adults. She is fluent in both English and Korean.

Elizabeth Diaz, LPC, NCC

Elizabeth is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been facilitating psychoeducational groups as well as providing individual, group, and couples counseling since 2014. Elizabeth has worked in various settings including inpatient hospitalization, outpatient treatment, and private practice. She works with individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, life transitions, and working closely with the LGBTIQ+ clients in various capacities. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
